Our only charge is our Coordination Fee (below) for managing the job from start to finish.

Habitar is here throughout to monitor progress, answer questions and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Our Trade Partners
All required work will be undertaken by carefully chosen tradespeople who are selected based on our assessment of their skills, experience, value and reputation. Every new company that joins us must sign-up to our 10 point Code of Conduct to confirm that they agree meet our expected standards of performance. In the unlikely event that any trade fails to stick to this code, they would be immediately removed from our database and get no more work.​​

To ensure all work meets UK Building Regulations and British Standards, using reliable materials and skilled workmanship.

To be polite, punctual and respectful. No smoking, swearing or loud music or intrusive phone calls on site.

4. Open Communication
To keep you and us informed at every stage, returning calls and emails promptly, explaining what’s happening and informing us immediately of any issues.

5. Coordination & Teamwork
To work collaboratively with other trades and the Habitar team, keeping projects running smoothly and on schedule. ​

To follow all health and safety regulations, keeping your home clean, protected and hazard-free throughout the work.

7. Insured & Qualified
To maintain current insurance and professional accreditations (Gas Safe, NICEIC, FENSA etc.), reviewed annually by Habitar.

8. Aftercare & Snagging
To fix things if they're not right. All approved trades offer responsive aftercare and stand by their workmanship.

9. Environmental Care
To minimise (and remove) waste, recycle wherever possible and make responsible material choices to reduce environmental impact.

10. Referenced
To provide Habitar with current references which we promise to check. We only partner with people we’d trust in our own homes.
